I am always curious about how to cure diseases using what we have in nature. I found the benefit of pineapple stem that may combat cancer.
Researchers say that two components called CCS and CCZ found in the stem of the pineapple may be active anti-cancer agents. CCS blocks a protein called Ras, which is defective in approximately 30% of all cancers. CCZ, stimulates the body’s own immune system to target and kill cancer cells.
“In searching for these components, it is discovered that the CCS and CCZ proteins could block growth of a broad range of tumour cells, including breast, lung, colon, ovarian and melanoma.”
It is so amazing, I really believe that nature provide everything we need, like what Dr Julie Sharp (cancer research UK) says, “The origin of many anti-cancer drugs can be found in nature.”
