subwoofers are dedicated to reproducing low audio frequencies and provide depth to the overall sound of your music. The RMS power handling rating refers to the amount of power a sub can handle on a continuous basis. We recommend giving your sub 75% - 90% of its recommended RMS rating to help prevent over-powering or “blowing” your sub. subwoofers impedance can be rated at a 2 ohm, 4 ohm, or an 8 ohm load. The type of voice coil setups includes single, dual, or quad voice coil. The subwoofers frequency range indicates how low the sub will reproduce bass beats.

Car subwoofer is the life of a quality car sound system. Basically, car subwoofersare loudspeakers intended to generate the lowest frequencies, or bass end of the audible sound range. Car subwoofers are usually sold separately from other car speakers, though you can probably find an entire set that also includes a car amplifier and sub.

A subwoofer is important because it not only produces a strong bass sound, but italso relieves pressure from your standard speakers. Subwoofers are of either a passive or powered type. A passive subwoofer setup will get its’ power from the car audio system. A powered type of setup will get its power delivered independently of the car audio system being used. If you are installing a car subwoofer, you will also need a car amplifier with a channel for a sub, if you don’t already have one. The amplifier provides the current needed to power your speakers and subwoofer. Match the power of the amplifier to the wattage labeled on your subwoofers. Also be sure that you are connecting your amp and your subwoofer with high gauge connection cables.
Installation is another issue: most electronic stores and body shops offer cheap car subwoofer installation, but they are also easily self-installed. Get a box enclosure if you want to enjoy the advantage of adding your own amplifier and prefer the freedom of choosing your own brand of subwoofer to case in the enclosure.
Choose between a tube enclosure and a box enclosure. Car music player are large speakers that are used to create frequencies that ordinary loudspeakers are unable to produce effectively. These frequencies are usually in the range at or below 100 Hz. Small subwoofers are popular bass speakers among aftermarket car stereo enthusiasts.

Car subwoofer cones must move in and out with the longest possible extension because sound waves get longer as they get lower in frequency. Current technology provides us with firm cone materials like polypropylene, carbon and polymer laminates that preserve their shape under stress, resist moisture, and are very light. Car subwoofers are constructed from heavy-duty die-cast aluminum frames and incorporate a strong.

This special design ensures a perfect reproduction of the bass frequencies and makes these speakers ideal for large sound combinations

A car amplifiers acts as the power source to your sound system. Technically, the amplifiers modulates power generated from the car battery. An amp specified to your speaker’s inputs will fully orchestrate your sound system with low bass beats and high frequency sounds.

Vehicle amplifiers can be used with any stereo, from factory stereos to after-market head units. A head unit can only provide limited power, whereas the superior power of an amp enables your subwoofers and speakers to reach their full potential.

The optimal setup matches the amplifier power output to the speakers’ power handling capability. Generally speaking, an amp is classified as mono, class D mono, or as a multi-channel amplifiers, which includes 2-channel, 4-channel, 5-channel, and 6-channel. Mono amplifiers are single-channel amps designed for low-frequency reproduction. 2-channel amps can power two subwoofers or you can combine the channels, or “bridge” the amp, to create a single channel for powering one subwoofer. Similarly, a 4-channel amplifier can power four speakers or you can bridge the channels to 2-channel output for powering two subs.

2-channel and 4-channel amps are also used to power component speaker systems, while 4- 5- and 6-channel amplifiers are used for systems with a combination of full-range speakers and subwoofers.
